I trust the company with it being non toxic and safe.
It is easy to grasp also both my boys gravitated toward and no matter how many choices they had and used it VERY heavily and still it looks good. Also I like the simplicity of it. My friends who have had the same toy ALL felt the same way about it, their kids loved it and used it a whole lot. Plus it is not too expensive compared to many of the baby toys. I also loved that it did not need batteries, make lots of noise or have pieces that break off and I like that it is wood. I could very easily throw it thru the dishwasher when it got grubby.
